Backing up our phone used to be a time consuming and a brain storming process. And it had never been an easy task. If your phone crashes or fall in water or unfortunately get stolen, you just not lose your phone only. But a whole bunch of data, documents, photos, videos, contacts, settings, etc. In fact that’s is a nightmare to lose all our precious data just like that. Our phone usually keep track of everything that goes on in our life.  we can cloud back up as many things as possible. That’s why it is important to back up our phone. We can set up manual as well as automatic backup.

But manual backing up is important than an automatic backup. Because an automatic backup alone can’t restore all your data. Still, I can’t give you false promise that this is going to be an easy task. It takes time and most importantly you will need patience to complete the process successfully. Method 1: steps to Back Up Android Smartphones using Google drive.

The most important and easy thing to do is to sync your Android phone with your Google account. You might have done this process when you first set up the phone when you started using it.

To make sure that, Android back up service is running in your phone please go through the given method.

  1. Open settings in your phone.
  2. Select System.
  3. And Select Backup.
  4. Select Backup to Google drive. (Make sure the toggle is on).
  5. You can see the data being backed up in the background.

If you can’t find the back up menu in the settings, you can manually search for back up and back up the system.

Method 2: steps to Back Up Android Smartphones using a PC.

Backing up your Android phone using a PC is a pretty much simpler and less time-consuming task than the earlier one. To do the same, follow the steps given below.

Android Mobile Manager
  1. You need to download the Android Mobile Manager for this process.
  2. Install Android Mobile Manager to your PC.
  3. Android manager will automatically install default Android driver.
  4. Plug in your mobile phone using a USB cable.
  5. Navigate to My computer.
  6. Select “My device”.
  7. Select all the data that you want to back up.
  8. Click on Export”.
  9. Show the back up the path.
  10. Your data will be backed up to your PC.

You can either drag the photos or videos or any other data that wish to back up to the computer screen instead of selecting all the data.

How to restore data

Once you delete an app you might lose all the data associated with that specific app. Whether it’s a gaming or a music app, the same happens when you delete it. To avoid this and to get the data back when you reinstall the app, you have to turn on Android automatic back up in your mobile phone. To restore data this way, follow the steps given below. Data won’t be restored automatically unless you set it up.

  2. Select Backup and reset.
  3. Select Backup my data.
  4. Turn the toggle on to Backup data.
  5. This will automatically backup your data
  6. Don’t forget to toggle on Automatic Restore.
